The Archer Heat Exchange System

The basis of the incredible leap in high efficiency achieved by the Archer Gas Log Space heater is the revolutionary heat exchange system. The patented heat exchanger has a three-stage heat exchanger which extracts 92% of the heat from the gas which is directly transferred into your home. Most other similar products have low levels of efficiency and heat output, as heat output rises it becomes physically more difficult to burn fuel efficiently and quickly before the heat escapes up the flue.

The Archer Gas Log Space Heater does not only feature a burning system the looks realistic, but also incorporates a combustion process, which delivers high efficiency and high heat output (Beauty – Efficiency – Heat).

Aurora Climate Systems, through continuance research and product development, has developed an innovative high efficient heat exchanger, which combines existing technology and new innovative ideas to produce a 3 stage heat exchange system, which is more efficient when compared to other Gas Log heaters on the market. This high efficient three stage high performance heat exchange system allows for the heat of the exhaust gasses to be squeezed to only 51°c before they enter the flue, resulting in total combustion to ensure that every Mega Joule of Gas Input Energy available is put to work for heating the home.

This type of process of achieving high performance and high heat output has to date not been achieved by any other similar appliance. A direct result of this technology has allowed a combination of installation advantages on fluing and zero clearance applications of the appliance.

Installation

Installation advantages and cost of installation are at half the cost compared to other similar flued appliances, due to the products zero clearance features and the small bore 40mm diameter PVC fluing system, which can be applied without any limitations on the installation of the appliance. It also has the advantage of using external air for combustion through its unique plastic co-axial fluing system. This combined with the Archer’s automatic humidifier system, would have to be one of the healthiest forms of heating for the consumer.

The Archer Gas Log Fire has the potential to cut approximately 25 percent off a year’s heating bill, when compared with other similar products of the same Mega Joule input operating on a low star efficiency rating.

The high heat output and high efficiency enables the Archer Gas Log heater to effectively heat an area of 15 to 25 squares (150 to 250 Sq meters)*The entire functioning of the Archer Gas Log heater is computer controlled, including hot surface ignition, to eliminate standing pilot lights and gas wastage.

The 3 speed fan will not start until the heater is warm, it’ll keep going until all the built-up heat has been transferred into your home. Archer’s automatic humidifier system traps moisture from the combustion gases and evaporates it back into the out coming warm air. A desirable benefit for small children and those with breathing problems. Other benefits include a remote control thermostat, and electronic computer controls to give safety and efficiency not seen in Australia before.

A major benefit which has been achieved for the environment, is through the introduction of its high performance heat exchanger which allows the Archer Gas Log Space Heater to produce less CO2 (Greenhouse Gases) then other comparable products.
